Pinqo Acceptable Use & Copyright Policy

1. Acceptable use
You may use Pinqo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Terms of Use and applicable law.
You may not use Pinqo to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- upload, save, store, process or distribute unlawful, infringing, malicious, deceptive or fraudulent material;
- introduce malware, malicious code or harmful files;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, infrastructure or data;
- circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits, technical restrictions or security protections;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation of Pinqo or third-party services;
- perform abusive scraping, automated extraction, bulk collection or other activity that materially burdens Pinqo or a third-party service;
- impersonate another person or entity or misrepresent your authority to act on their behalf;
- use Pinqo to facilitate harassment, exploitation, abuse, threats or other unlawful conduct;
- use saved or uploaded material in a manner that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- attempt to use Pinqo as a tool for unauthorized redistribution of third-party content.
2. Third-party content
Pinqo is a tool for privately saving, organizing and retrieving information.
Content available through or originating from services such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Facebook, websites and other third-party services remains subject to the rights and rules of the relevant authors, platforms and other rightsholders.
Pinqo does not grant users ownership of third-party content and does not transfer any copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights in such content.
The presence of a link, thumbnail, title, preview, author name, metadata or other third-party information inside Pinqo does not imply ownership, sponsorship, endorsement or authorization by Pinqo.
3. Saved links, screenshots and images
You are responsible for the material you choose to save or upload to Pinqo.
This includes responsibility for ensuring that:
- you have the right to save or upload the material;
- your use does not violate applicable law;
- your use does not infringe the rights of another person;
- you comply with any restrictions imposed by the third-party platform or service from which the material originated.
Saving content privately in Pinqo does not by itself give you the right to:
- republish it;
- distribute it;
- sell it;
- commercially exploit it;
- create unauthorized derivative works from it;
- make it publicly available.
4. Pinqo does not host a public content-sharing platform
Pinqo is designed as a private personal library.
Pinqo currently does not provide public profiles, public collections, public feeds, comments, follows or other public social-sharing functionality.
This does not remove your responsibility for the legality of material you upload or save.
5. Intellectual property
Pinqo’s software, user interface, visual identity, branding, original text and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Pinqo and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by Pinqo, you may not:
- copy or reproduce Pinqo software or proprietary materials;
- modify or create derivative works from Pinqo software;
- distribute, sell, sublicense or commercially exploit Pinqo software;
- remove proprietary notices;
- use Pinqo branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement without permission.
6. Copyright and rights complaints
If you believe that material stored, displayed or processed through Pinqo infringes your copyright or other rights, you may send a notice to:
Please include, where applicable:
- identification of the protected work or right;
- identification of the material you believe is infringing;
- sufficient information for us to understand how to locate or identify the material;
- your name and contact information;
- an explanation of your rights in the material;
- a statement explaining the basis of your complaint.
We may request additional information that is reasonably necessary to evaluate the notice.
7. Response to complaints
Where reasonably necessary and legally appropriate, Pinqo may:
- investigate a complaint;
- remove or restrict access to material;
- disable affected functionality;
- contact the relevant account holder;
- suspend or terminate an account;
- preserve information where legally required;
- cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
We do not guarantee that every complaint will result in removal where the request is incomplete, unsupported or not legally valid.
8. Repeated or serious violations
We may suspend or terminate access to Pinqo where we reasonably determine that an account is repeatedly or seriously used for:
- infringement;
- unlawful activity;
- abuse;
- fraud;
- security attacks;
- circumvention of technical protections;
- other material violations of our Terms or this Policy.
9. Third-party platform rules
Third-party platforms and websites have their own terms, copyright rules and usage restrictions.
Your use of content originating from those services may be subject to those rules independently of your use of Pinqo.
Pinqo is not responsible for determining whether your use of third-party content complies with a third-party platform’s terms.
